Student Responsibilities.
Backpacks:
Please keep children’s backpacks and folders emptied. This helps children from being confused as to what to turn in to their teacher and what to give to you. All toys need to stay at home.
Snacks:
The Kindergarten schedule has an afternoon snack. Students will be assigned one day per month to provide a peanut free snack for the class. The snack schedule will be on the monthly calendar located in your child’s take home folder. A weekly snack list will be on each newsletter.
Library Books:
Please keep your child’s library book in his/her backpack. Your child will only have one library book at a time. It must be returned before they are allowed to check out another one. Any lost or damaged books will have to be paid for before your child will be allowed to check out another book.
Money:
Please make sure all money sent to school with your child is placed in the money bag (zipper pouch) that is located inside your child’s take home folder. Please label with your child’s name and what the money is for.
Helper:
Each day I will have a helper in class. That student gets to help me with calendar time, be in the front of the line, hold doors when needed, pass out papers, be the classroom greeter, etc.
